Guests have full use of the spacious and comfortable lounge where they will also be welcomed on arrival with a glass of local Marlborough wine. This room is furnished in the same elegant style as the bedroom suites and contains many interesting books which may be borrowed during the stay. Large floor-to-ceiling windows reveal wonderful views of the Richmond Ranges, the Wither Hills and the North Island.

The gardens and surrounding farm land provide the opportunity for an invigorating walk or a gentle stroll, or perhaps sitting and relaxing in a quiet corner such as in the gazebo at the top of one of the hills where you may sit and admire views of the Cook Strait and the southern end on the North Island.
